France Government is consulting to pass a new law, which forces Apple Computer to open up its iTunes Music Store, in this case consumers can operate not only on iPods but also on other digital music players. It's said by industry observers that the law could force Apple to close all the iTunes Music Store in France if it is really enacted. It's reported by Reuters that, this draft law is going to be voted in parliament on Thursday, if it can be passed, then consumers could benefit a lot from it, they could legally use this software to convert digital content into any format they need. Christian Vanneste, rapporteur, a senior parliamentarian who helps guide law in France, said that this law could propel some proprietary systems to be opened up, by this way consumers can download digital content and play it on any digital music players.
