Apple CEO Steve Jobs said Apple plans to bring the iPhone to Europe in the fourth calendar quarter of 2007, and to Asia in 2008.

After more than two years in the making, Jobs Tuesday announced the company’s intention to enter the mobile handset market, unveiling the new Apple iPhone. The iPhone brings together several features of the iPod, digital camera, smart phones and even portable computing to one device, with a widescreen display and an innovative input method. Jobs also mentioned two accessories for the iPhone: stereo headphones with integrated microphone, and a Bluetooth headset that pairs automatically with the iPhone and goes to sleep to preserve battery life.

“Every once in a while a revolutionary product comes along that changes everything,” Jobs said.

 SONY, who release the new NW-A800 Walkman and now there is a hands on preview floating around on YouTube.

“This Walkman can play high quality videos, MP3’s or flick through your photo album, plays contents downloaded from Internet, podcasts or simply from your camcorder to watch your home videos on the run.

Packed with features, a high quality 2″ LCD with user friendly interface so calling up your files is easy and multi-format support so even your AVC, MP4 or most other file types are just a drag-and-drop away.

You’ll have to create/convert Video/DVD, or buy compatible content, as limited video format support and glitches in many previously iPod-converted video files will render even an existing iTunes video library in need of substantial updating; older iTunes Store videos look downright bad on larger HDTVs, and some videos don’t display properly on any TV. Does not include video or audio cables of any sort, and may not be compatible with certain TVs that it can physically connect to. Included hard disk is of even lower usable capacity than expected, takes a very long time to fill over standard wireless connection, and USB port does not allow connection of a second dedicated media drive. Music and photo features are acceptable but not mindblowing. Lack of any volume control will bother some users. Pricey given the actual value it adds.
