Apple has released iPod Updater 2006-06-28. The iPod software is available for download from Apple’s Web site.

iPod Updater 2006-06-28 includes iPod Software 1.1.2 for iPods with video; iPod Software 1.2 for iPod nano and iPod Software 1.1.4 for iPod shuffle. The updater includes the same iPod software as what was included in iPod Updater 2006-03-23 for all other iPod models.

The new update adds Nike + iPod support for the iPod nano — this update is concurrent with a change made to iTunes 6.0.5, also released on Thursday. The iPod software enables iPod nanos to collect data from specially equipped Nike+ running shoes that’s then synced to iTunes and transfered to a Nike Web site, where runners can track their training progress.

Also added in this updater is a volume limit for iPod shuffles. Bug fixes have also been made, according to Apple.
