Hitachi-LG Data Storage (HLDS) just revealed its so called world first 4x Blu-ray burner. The Blu-ray burner GBW-H10N can record the discs at speedy 4x, while doesn't support dual-layer discs. This Blu-ray burner cann't burn rewriteable discs at 4x, but at 2x. The Blu-ray burner can read and write DVDR/RW, DVDR DL, DVD-RAM and CD-R/RW media. For the dual-layer BD-ROMs the Blu-ray burner GBW-H10N can only read it. It gets 4MB of cache memory and can be connected to host computer by an ATAPI bus. This Blu-ray burner will be shipped this month, while the pricing is unknown at present.
