U.S. Congress House Will Allow Representatives to Use iPad

According to the reports, the U.S. Congress House will soon allow representatives to use iPad, iPhone, BlackBerry and other devices.

Currently, the U.S. Congress still does not allow members of the House of Representatives to use these devices. But the incoming House Speaker-- John A. Boehmer will relax this requirement. Of course, Members are still not allowed to use these devices to do operations unrelated to the House of Representatives, such as shopping on eBay or playing games. However, it was said that the use of these technologies is to support environmental protection. On the other hand, it can helps members to cited the legislative quickly and receive important news.

As expected, this caused some controversy. Some people think that this will threaten the long tradition of behavior and etiquette; and some people think it can keep the House of Representatives come up with the times. Despite the controversy, both sides denied that the use of advanced equipment can let critical information be updated in time, while reducing the dependence of the newspaper.
