Sharp new Blu-Ray HDD combo

Sharp just announced another Blu-Ray and HDD combo with the BD-HDS43, a mid-level Blu-Ray HDD combo with a single digital and analog TV tuners, coupled with a 320GB hard drive to store all your recorded video.

Up to 36 hours of HD content can be stored on the device's HDD, and then be burned on BD-R/RE, BD-R DL/RE DL, DVD-R/RW or DVD-R DL discs. The BD-HDS43 does not support direct recording on optical discs, or DVDs using the AVCREC encoding.

It will be released at the end of this month in Japan, but we will have to wait a little longer elsewhere.
