New Toshiba Qosmio con Blu-ray

Toshiba's beastly Dynabook was last updated in April, but at the time, Toshiba was still walking around with its chin up and refusing to integrate Blu-ray technology into its products.

Toshiba's new Qosmio G60 laptop has been deigned to provide customers with a choice for a high-performance processor, integrating the Intel Core 2 Duo P8700 CPU with a core speed of 2.53GHz. Additionally, the unit also packs 4GB of RAM and a 500GB hard drive, pretty much what you'd expect from a potential desktop replacement. There's also an NVIDIA GeForce GT 230M graphics processing unit, twin TV tuners and an 18.4-inch HD 1080p panel.

Unfortunately, there are no details on whether the laptop is to be launched in parts outside the country, or what its price tag will be. The Qosmio G60 will be released in Japan by the end of November.
