Palm Pre bug list.
These are the bugs of Palm Pre found by users until now, if you have any bugs on your Palm Pre, post them, and I will add them to the list.
1. Light leakage at the bottom of the screen.
2. Dead pixels.
3. When entering data into a form field on a web page, they symbol key doesn't work (clicking on a symbol does nothing)
4. When entering data into a form field on a web page, thecut-and-paste Edit menu items don't work. (However, the cut-and-pasteshortcuts do work.)
5. When web browsing in wide screen mode, if you click on a picture orlink that opens up into another card, the new card opens the other way.You have to turn the screen back upright, and then back to wide viewfor it to flip. Seems like if you are already browsing in wide, newcards would open the same way.
6. Whenever I open or close the slider, the screen fades out and turnsblack but you can tell it was still lit. It would be like that for asecond or two and then turn off. You then had to use the power buttonto turn it back on.
7. When checking your mail.. you go to view your mail.. the first message you open disappears, and then when you go back to mail.. all your mail is gone.. no where to be found
8. All your apps work fine except memos...it won't open or allow you to take a memo no matter what you do...
9. Sometimes won't get new mail. Need to power off and restart for it to get mail. Sometimes shuts down for no reason.
10. When you delete a convo from the conversation list sometimes conversations won't show up from the persons you deleted. You have to delete the contact and re add them for it to start working
11. Palm pre, wont boot. My friend has been on the palm splash screen for 1hr and counting. His battery was half was full when this problem started.
Palm Pre Bugs
So have you guys heard of any issues that are happeng with the Pre? I am on my 3rd Pre within the initial 30 days of owning it.
On the 1st phone I owned, it started opening up applications and calling random people, also the little 'water droplet' icon when you touch the screen started going wild and there were hundreds of them touching all over the screen, without me even tapping the screen. Dead pixels and also sluggish operation.
The 2nd phone I had, the 'back' feature on the slider stopped working, so I couldnt go back in web pages or in other apps. The touch screen went dead shortly after that, and would not allow me to do anything at all.
Im just curious if you guys have heard any issues with this at all.

My friend had the same problem, his pre calls random ppl, he changed 4 another one, everything is fine now.
palm pre wont boot
palm pre, wont boot. i have been on the palm splash screen for 1hr and counting. my battery was half was full when this problem started. the phone now has been on the charger for 30min, in attempt to see if it is the battery. but i don't think so. at 325.00 the phone doesn't work all to well.

Text messaging problems
