Twilight Saga New Moon DVD Blu-ray release date March 20th

The second installment of the 'Twilight Saga', entitled 'New Moon,' will be released on DVD and Blu-ray March 20th.

'Twilight,' the first in the franchise broke records when it was released March 21st of last year. "New Moon' is such a fan favorite it wouldn't be a surprise if 'Twilight' broke it's own record.

March 20th is a Saturday, a departure from the usual Tuesday releases for DVDs. 'Twilight' was also released on a Saturday. Summit Entertainment had families in mind when deciding on a Saturday release. The 'tweens that will want this DVD THE MINUTE it hits the shelves (at midnight) can now make it on a weekend. On Tuesday there would be considerably less chance of attending the exciting 'Twilight' themed parties, etc.

A riveting six-part documentary that takes you behind the scenes
Exclusive band rehearsal footage with Muse
Music videos from Death Cab for Cutie, Anya Marina, and Mute Math

The Blu-ray will have similar extras, not all have been announced yet.
