3D Blu-Ray Release Date?

Official statements from Blu-Ray founding father Sony have stated a "summer 2010" release for 3D Blu-Ray players; notably the Sony BDP-S770. Huge media pushes have officially stated that the PS3 will be 3D capable, too. Toshiba announced three units to be available in the third quarter of 2010, and the list continues to pile up with other manufacturers and their plans to join the fray.

As for 3D movies, Sony's "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs" will be available in Summer 2010, followed by the Jim Carrey animated film "A Christmas Carol," "Monsters vs. Aliens," and undoubtedly, one of the most important 3D movies of our time - "Avatar."
